Had wonderful experience with Hartford. Audrey was so nice and efficient in changing my policy from old car to new. The young man in finance was also. Everyone I have dealt with has known their job well and been very nice. I recommend anyone who needs Car insurance come to Hartford.

Just started with the Hartford. But so far I'm happy. The quote process was fairly easy, and I saved a lot of money which I was grateful for. But I do wish they could figure out a way to accept 11 digit VIN numbers of older vehicles. I wasn't able to complete the online quote, and the poor guy I spoke to on the phone had a hard time too. But he was very friendly, courteous, and helped to answer my questions, and get me insured. I would recommend The Hartford to anyone.

After purchasing a new vehicle, my insurance was very high. I decided to check into Hartford, through AARP. They quoted me a rate which was about $300 less than my current rate. I was very happy, and the transaction and process was easy and all online.The representative I spoke with was professional and kind. I am very happy to have made the switch.

I thought I was paying too much for Car Insurance, so I started shopping. The Hartford not only had a 12 month (as compared to the 6 I used to get with my old company) But the Really Cool Thing Was They were almost Three Hundred Dollars Less a Year than I had been paying. Changing couldn't have been easier -- I worked a Very Professional, Very Knowledge Young Lady Named Jaymie. She took care of everything and the change over went off without a Hitch---I would Recommend The Hartford to anyone who would like a Great Company, With Great Service and Great People!

Like Bilbo (below) I thought I was paying too much for Car Insurance. Our rates had jumped 30-40% in the last two years. So I started shopping, beginning with Consumer Reports evaluation of companies. The Hartford not only had a 12 month (as compared to the 6 I used to get with my old company) and the rate for our three vehicles was several hundred dollars than I would have been paying had I not changed to Hartford. And working with the company's people online has been pleasant. They all speak American English!. I would Recommend The Hartford to anyone who would like a Great Company, With significantly better rates!

I was shopping for new insurance coverage because I wasn't pleased with the rising rates in spite of a good driving record. I was amazed to get all the information with one phone call. The agent gave me very complete information so my problem was solved with that one call. I'm satisfied with the quoted rate and transferred my coverage to The Hartford for my auto and property insurance needs. This was a very satisfying experience.

My traditionally low auto insurance co. raised my rates recently to what I felt was a ridiculous level, with little reason. I had been with them for many years, but I decided to shop elsewhere. Luckily, someone recommended The Hartford. As an AARP member, they were able to significantly beat the other rates, for the identical coverage. The Hartford agent was excellent in helping me to understand the different insurance criteria. I really appreciated their guidance and am currently very happy with my decision to switch.

At this point they are a 5. I switched from State Farm Auto Insurance and saved over $500 annually. I was able to create my policy to match what I had for the past 30 years and was amazed at how much cheaper The Hartford is. I did have to contact customer service over my error in not printing the form to discontinue my current insurance and it was painless! I called, didn't have to wait but a minute and the rep took care of me instantly.

The representative was very knowledgeable, patient, and pleasant.She answered all of my questions and took the time to explain in detail my new coverage. We compared my old coverage to the Hartford coverage and I have saved over a $1000.00 on my Auto and Home insurance. I'm very pleased. Hopefully this will be a seamless transition.

I never thought I would leave a 5-star review for an insurance company, but here we are. After months of my attorney (Adam Mann at Cohen and Cohen, P.A.) claiming that The Hartford was his firm’s malpractice insurer and saying he’d spent hours and days on the phone with them about a premium increase that directly affected my case, I finally went straight to the source. The Hartford was responsive and professional. Their claims rep, LaJoyce, confirmed in writing that The Hartford does not provide professional liability (malpractice) coverage to Cohen and Cohen, P.A. They were clear, timely, and provided me with the truth, without the runaround or lies I experienced with my former attorney, Adam Mann. Meanwhile, Adam is still lying in his responses, even publicly. He is hiding behind attorney-client confidentiality while having previous responses where he freely discussed other clients' cases. It takes a special type of person to continue telling the same lies for months even after the truth is finally revealed. If you’re a client trying to verify insurance coverage or you just want to know where you stand, The Hartford will give you the facts, not fabrications. Wish I’d skipped the lawyer and called the insurer first.
